Agreement

These terms apply to the Overage iPhone app. By using Overage, you agree to them. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to apps downloaded from the App Store; where it conflicts with these terms for the download itself, Apple’s terms control.

The app

Overage helps you log kilometres against a lease, finance, or owned-vehicle allowance and estimate mileage and possible overage costs. It is a tracking and calculation tool. It is not a bank, lessor, insurer, lawyer, accountant, or financial adviser.

Estimates and your responsibility

Ahead or over status, daily pace, projected distance, overage amounts, reminders, widgets, and adviser notes are estimates based on the information you enter. They may be wrong if a log is late, a field is inaccurate, or your lessor applies different terms. Your signed contract and your lessor’s statements control.

You are responsible for your driving, odometer records, agreement details, deadlines, and any charges at return.

Lease Adviser

Lease Adviser and any contract flags, dates, or buy-versus-return observations are informational. They are not legal, tax, or financial advice and are not a promise about what a dealer, manufacturer, lessor, or court will do.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for the accuracy and legality of the information and files you add.

Trial and purchase

Overage is free to download and includes a 30-day trial beginning when you create an account. After the trial, a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase unlocks the app. Price and currency are shown by Apple for your storefront before purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple. Deleting your account does not cancel or refund the Apple purchase.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another person’s account or data, interfere with the service, or upload content you do not have the right to store. Access may be suspended for abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful use.

Data and deletion

How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account in Settings → Account. Deletion removes your server data and cannot be undone.

Availability and liability

Overage is provided as-is and features may change. To the extent permitted by law, Stardust Media and Narciso Ventures are not responsible for lease overage, missed deadlines, inaccurate estimates, lost data, or decisions made using adviser output. Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app unlock.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
