Who we are

Stardust Media publishes Overage, a native iPhone app for tracking kilometres against a lease, finance, or owned-vehicle allowance. Stardust Media is a publishing brand of Narciso Ventures. This policy explains what Overage handles and why.

Information you provide

• Account information: email address, username, and password, or basic identity information from Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google.
• Vehicle and lease information: make, model, year, colour, lease or finance terms, mileage allowance, and overage rate.
• Activity you add: odometer readings, dates, service records, costs, notes, receipts, vehicle subscriptions, car photos, and lease documents.

If you use Google sign-in, Overage requests only the standard identity scopes needed for authentication: your Google account identifier, name, email address, and basic profile information. Overage does not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts, or Calendar.

Camera and photos

Odometer photos are processed on your device with Apple Vision so you can confirm the reading. Overage does not upload those scans. Car photos and lease files are uploaded only when you choose to add them.

Lease Adviser

If you ask Overage to use Lease Adviser, relevant contract text and lease numbers are sent to xAI so the app can return an informational reading of the agreement. Lease Adviser is not legal or financial advice, and its output may be incomplete or incorrect.

Purchases

Apple processes the one-time in-app purchase through StoreKit. Stardust Media does not receive your card number or Apple ID password. Deleting your Overage account does not refund or remove the purchase from your Apple ID.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate you, calculate mileage and estimated overage, display widgets, store the records and files you choose to add, run Lease Adviser when requested, provide support, and protect the service from abuse.

Overage does not sell personal information, serve advertising, or use cross-app tracking SDKs.

Service providers and storage

• Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage in AWS Canada Central.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple, StoreKit purchases, and platform services.
• Google: authentication when you choose Sign in with Google.
• xAI: processing of lease text when you choose Lease Adviser.

Infrastructure providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and security logs, as needed to operate and protect their services.

Notifications and widgets

Mileage reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets cache a small status snapshot in the app’s shared container on your device.

Your choices and deletion

You can access and correct vehicle and mileage information in the app. To permanently delete your account and server data, open Overage and choose Settings → Account → Delete Account. This cannot be undone. Your Apple purchase remains associated with your Apple ID and can be restored if you create another account.

Children

Overage is not directed to children under 13, and Stardust Media does not knowingly collect their personal information.
